Making life easier every day
Hi, I’m Kelly
One person, doing both halves of the job — keeping homes in good order across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and keeping the people in them company.

I spent over twenty years working in care, most of it supporting people living with dementia and the families around them. It is hard work and it is the best work I have ever done.
What I noticed, over and over, was that two things changed how someone felt more than almost anything else: a home that was clean and calm, and somebody turning up when they said they would. Not a different agency worker every week. The same face, who remembers what you told them last time.
So that is what I built. I clean houses — regular visits, deep cleans, move-outs — and I sit with people who would otherwise be on their own. Some weeks that means scrubbing an oven that has not been touched in years. Other weeks it is a cup of tea and a proper conversation, or driving someone to the garden centre because they have not been out in a fortnight.
I live in Mansfield and work across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Wherever you are in either county, it is worth a call — I will tell you straight away whether I can get to you.
I keep my client list small on purpose. It is the only way I can promise you will get me, every time, rather than whoever happens to be free.
I treat every client like family, because most of them end up feeling like it.

Years in care
Most of it in dementia support, working with families through some genuinely difficult stretches.
1
Person, every visit
No rota of strangers. The continuity is the whole point, particularly in dementia support.
0
Contracts
No minimum term and no notice period. People stay because the work is good, not because they are tied in.
Being straight about what I do
I provide companionship, household support, meal preparation, errands and respite. Those are not regulated activities, and I am not a CQC-registered care provider.
That means I do not provide personal care — help with washing, dressing, toileting or administering medication. In England that work is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and can only legally be done by a registered provider. I can give gentle reminders about medication, but I will not administer it.
If what you need crosses that line, tell me anyway. I will point you towards a registered local agency rather than take on work that is not mine to do.
Come and say hello
The first step is only ever a conversation. No pressure, no charge, and no obligation to book anything at the end of it.
